No sure what people think a place like heaven looks or have a clue where it is, but I find it everywhere...EVERYDAY

How many ways can you capture your backyard...
Whether it's an expensive DSLR camera or the much improved phone camera, if you have one you'll start to look at the world in a different light. My camera makes it hard to turn away from the most minute of objects to the very obvious. I will swing, jump, crawl, climb, hop, skip and run to capture the perfect lighting with the perfect angle, but really in my world perfect doesn't exist. The imperfect is sometimes the most appealing. What I see through a lens and define as beautiful may be very different than what someone else sees. Why I love art and why I love photography. Seeing the world through different sets of eyes once piece of art at a time. Just as my photography evolves, so do I.

A little stroll down the trail...
It is so beautiful by the river this time of year. My kids were having a blast exploring. It was entertaining watching them wander and explore with their daddy. They would barely look at me while taking pictures, which is nothing new. They make me work hard to get a great shot, but they are amazing little models. I love to practice, practice, practice. My kids and my camera feed my soul. My little family is my greatest cheerleader. When I'm not photographing them, most likely you will find me photographing something or someone else. With that said, do what you LOVE and whatever else will follow. For now I'm doing what I love!

TUTU
Why buy it when you can make it and then photograph it...Girls just wanna have fun! My mom came up to visit us for 6 days and I can't even begin to thank her enough for all her help, great company, and good laughs. A girl is NEVER too old to have separation anxiety from her momma. I miss her so much right now, but glad I have pictures to remember our amazing time together.

Nature Time
Valerie Andrews, A Passion for this Earth
"As a child, one has that magical capacity to move among the many eras of the earth; to see the land as an animal does; to experience the sky from the perspective of a flower or a bee; to feel the earth quiver and breathe beneath us; to know a hundred different smells of mud and listen unself- consciously to the soughing of the trees."
